FLINT, Mich. – A father, Navy Veteran, and career federal law enforcement officer has entered the race for Michigan’s 8th District seat.
“My grandparents came to Flint during the Great Migration seeking opportunity and a better life. They found that here, with jobs at General Motors. I was blessed to have grown up here, graduating from Northwestern Edison High, a star three sport athlete and class president. From Flint, to Bay City, to Saginaw, to Midland – I always say, ‘pound for pound, the Saginaw Valley Conference is the toughest’. I’ve dedicated my life to service. I joined the Navy shortly after high school, where I served during the Global War on Terrorism, helping to keep Americans safe from the worst of the worst at Guantanamo Bay and later as an intelligence analyst. After completing my degree in Criminal Justice upon returning home, I became a federal law enforcement officer. A born and bred Flinstone, when I made the decision to return home, I was called to serve in a different way – to serve our communities in Congress and fight the radical left agenda.”
